Website marketing is merely attraction marketing and a simple idea that paves the way towards home business entrepreneurship and becoming an iNetrepreneur.

It is all about branding and promoting YOU! You must start the journey towards becoming an independent work from home success story first by being able to create a brand for yourself and start making your name stand out from the crowd. Disregard at first all of your money making opportunities and keep it on a personal level to get to know your reader first and let them get to know you. Nobody likes a pushy salesman.

There are many ways that you can start to personally brand yourself. You can use websites, videos, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, email, and personally I believe direct mail should be involved in the mix. Never leave any stone unturned. The iNetrepreneur looks to attract people that value their word and that can be empathetic towards their situation. People are hungry for an answer to their circumstances and by taking the role of listener, communicator, and mentor you should be able to gain a strong following.

The old strategy for marketing appears to be stuck in the dark ages. It was usually a network marketing business opportunity and the main way to get your name out there was to talk to family, friends, strangers, and the list could go on. You have to ask yourself if these people that I'm talking to were looking for a business opportunity; wouldn't they already be involved in one? Make a list of 100 people and go to work on the phones. It does not have to be that way anymore. Neither does having a corporate replicated website that every distributor has. How will you differentiate yourself from the masses?

In today's information age, one of the main reasons why home business owners never succeed is because they are not in the branding themselves mode. There is only so many carbon copied websites that a visitor can visit before they decide if it is for them or not. It really comes down to a lottery type mentality for the business owner. YOU need to be able to distinguish yourself from the crowd.

Website marketing and attraction marketing go hand in hand and consist of the following strategies:

  • What kind of worth do you bring to the table? Are you always learning a new skill set? Now is the time for personal and professional growth. Read, learn, and share your findings. Become the person that people seek for direction. Be their map and give them direction. Have access to different systems and different mentors and share what you learn. Become the go to guy or gal. Show that you have knowledge that will help your people without having to be in it for yourself. Help them grow their business.
  • Create a system to capture their information. Set up a simple web page that shows the readers what they are getting by joining you in your business. Offer them a free report or something that helps them in some way.
  • Create a page that is all about YOU! WordPress makes this fairly easy with a bit of learning. Your about me page can also serve as your lead capture page. Let them know that they are not joining an opportunity but rather a person that has similar interests. This can be the ice breaker and it will let your people know that you are a genuine person and not some snake oil salesman.
  • Now that we have the lead capture page in place, it is time to be able to keep in contact with your prospects. You must, must, must have an autoresponder in place. There are some really excellent services online at your disposal so it should not be too hard to choose. An autoresponder is basically a follow up email campaign that you can preload with your messages and in turn stay in front of your readers. This can become extremely lucrative as your list starts to grow by learning how to monetize your list.

Basically those are the very first things that you should be learning how to do when embarking on your home business endeavor. Website marketing using attraction marketing principals will make sure that you have a strong foundation for which to grow any type of business.

This does not have to be hard, all that you are doing is learning something of value that you can bring to the table and the more direct you are in your marketing efforts, the quicker the return on investment. Once you have the basics down then you can start to diversify and become a true home business entrepreneur.

To sum it all up:

Focus on a task and take ACTION! This is not some get rich quick ploy but it can turn into a get rich slowly process by sticking to the basics, doing something every day and constantly taking ACTION!

Learn to use the internet, sprinkle in some direct mail marketing and continue to bring value to the table.
