The most important skill you can learn in the game of making money online in Internet Marketing is the ability to create your own profit pulling websites. I may build "fugly" websites but my sites get free, targeted "SERP" (search engine result page) traffic. In fact, some of my pages even get listed #1 - #10 for my chosen key words or key word phrases. FIRST page search results in Google, Yahoo and MSN. Not bad for a fairly tecnically challenged dumbshit.

When looking for good site builder software keep in mind that MOST of the software out there is either designed for computer programmer geeks or absolute idiots. There is rarely an in-between or happy medium. And this causes several problems:
- If you get software designed for a website building pro you'll never be able to build your pages and figure out how to upload them to the Internet without investing a ton of time learning website building skills.
- If you buy software designed for idiots you'll never build sites that get top search engine placement.
There has to be middle ground for people who have enough talent to follow directions, dig in and learn some techniques and who also want some freedom to do their thing. I've only found a couple website builders that offer everything I personally wanted.

If you can type, copy and paste and learn some search engine optimization skills and then apply them while building your site you'll soon be building sites that generate free search engine traffic and income.
Once you have your lead capture pages built, with an autoresponder opt-in web form, and a good follow-up email series then you are ready to generate targeted traffic using Google Adwords, article marketing, traffic exchanges and so on.
If you don't have your own sites (lead capture pages) with an autoresponder follow-up system that directs your leads to your opportunities or the products you sell you will always be building someone else's lists thereby making them rich instead of you. If investing your money on leads for a "one time shot" at selling them something and giving your leads to the "Guru" who built your system doesn't bother you then by all means don't bother to learn how to build your own profit pulling websites.
